For those people who need extra practice, you can do erev Yom Kippur Kaparos at any one of a number of communities. I have three conditions. 1. all profit must go to a tzedakah - you can deduct your expenses obviously. Tzedakah means to the poor. Not for publishing a sefer, a shull or a kiruv project. 2. All shechitah must be done before Yom Kippur and all birds must be shechted 3. Every attempt should be made to give the meat to a food kitchen. I have a number of kitchens that will even clean the birds if you bring them the shechted bird.
A number of communities are requesting proper kaparos. Let me know if you need the practice.

Four Legged Chicken-psak given in article is wrong it is kosher

חגיגה במאה שערים: תרנגול בעל 4 רגליים, שהתגלה במשחטה של יואליש קרויס הפך לשיחת היום בשכונה. הגר"י יוסף נשאל על כשרותו ופסק: "הוא טרף". למרות זאת, הוא סייג את דבריו וציין כי אם יתגלה לאחר השחיטה שהרגליים צמחו ממקום אחר בגוף העוף, הוא יהיה מותר לאכילה

למרות זאת, הוא סייג את דבריו וציין כי אם יתגלה לאחר השחיטה שהרגליים צמחו ממקום אחר בגוף העוף, הוא יהיה מותר לאכילה.
יצוין כי הרה"ג צבי פרידמן שליט"א פסק כי התרנגול כשר, משום שהרגליים אינן מחוברות למקום שנחשב לבעייתי על-פי ההלכה.
כך או כך, כשרותו של העוף תבחן לאחר שיישחט.

Pheasant
As you know we have been hunting for a mesorah on pheasant. Last night I was called by someone who claims a lineage of Moroccan rabbis have a mesorah for not the ring-neck pheasant but rather the melanistic mutant pheasant. Will be following up with various Moroccan rabbanim to verify.

Palm Turkey
I do not know how these taste--if you believe it. They will be shechted after the summer break (end of Aug.).

We are trying to arrange a shechitah in upstate NY at the end of the summer (mid Aufust). Very powerful birds, taste great.

Either Embden or Talouse they will be $70 each somewhat cleaned.
